Just Gorgeous...
Diane is a genius. I spotted her work first from the lovely folks at the Art and Light Gallery. They had an exhibition that just ended and it featured her birds. I'll admit, I'm genuinely afraid of birds, but not in images these are just beautiful! I can just see a cluster of these birdies on my bedroom wall...
I did a little more digging and found some of her larger pieces that just transcend reality. Textures and colors combine to create an alternate existence. I think South Carolina is definitely on my to do list ASAP!

She is incredibly talented. Her bigger work is the stuff of Mad Hatters and Wonderland, layers, upon layers of stunning depth. I managed to get a little bird too - those are all delicate and lovely, like the subject that's portrayed....
