New Year's Recap:

B & N: A Lovely Start

Rewind 4 years:

1. Get blood-clot at 20 from birth control
2. Stop taking birth control
3. Proceed to develop adult acne

Fast forward to December 31st, 2009

1. Start snowing A LOT
2. Get period
3. Use special face stuff to cure acne
4. Have face dry out and peeeeeel
5. Apply moisturizer to deter peeling
6. Drive to Long Island after work on New Year's Eve
7. Have a Spark (Pez flavored energy booze)
8. Meet approximately 30 people that are all married or in the process of getting married
9. Get 'the eye' from awkward guy who keeps referring to the dog as his 'New Year's Kiss.'
10. Obsessively text my bff who tells me her entire family is laughing at me, including her 10 month old niece
11. Apply moisturizer to deter peeling
12. Have a Dimetapp flavored Martini (Thanks Teach)
13. Discuss polka-dot patterns on China and why 'Hell Long Islander's' fiance doesn't approve
14. Discuss the necessity of a MAN-icure for men before their wedding
15. Disagree
16. Apply moisturizer to deter peeling
17. Have a Hooker
18. Argue w/ the guy N said I would get into a fist fight with
19. Wonder whether he'd hit a girl
20. Apply moisturizer to deter peeling
21. Commence further hell night in Long Island

In my opinion, this pretty much sums up the night.

Fast forward to 2 PM January 1st, 2010

1. Wake up on couch
2. Watch helpless as other people I don't really know wake up
3. Eat some sort of breakfast
4. Watcher Cheater's marathon
5. Wonder why there are only 6 of us in the ample living room and approximately 14 in an unfinished bedroom
6. Curse cliquey Long Islanders
7. Head home
8. Apply moisturizer to deter peeling
9. Vow to never hang out with said Long Islander's again
10. Get Fresh Taco in New Haven. mmmmm....
11. Forget to pick up car
12. Wash the Long Island off my skin
13. Apply moisturizer to deter peeling
14. Crash for the night.

So here's to a better 2010 with way less Long Island influence...unless its the Iced variety.
