Once I have a house, I don't think I'd do wall to wall carpeting. First I loathe vacuuming. Secondly, my allergies would probably appreciate one less place for the enemy to hide. Thirdly, I love hardwood...and painted hardwood....and maybe some checkered linoleum in the kitchen!
